Megan McClain, RRT, RPSGT, CCRC
Megan joined American Health Research in the summer of 2011. She has over 15 years of patient care in areas of pulmonary rehabilitation, sleep medicine, and critical care. In 2004, she opened SleepWell, Inc., a local IDTF specializing in diagnosis and treatment of sleep disorders. Her clinical research experience includes asthma, COPD, hereditary angioedema, diabetes, and sleep disorders. She enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter, any type of exercise, reading, and cooking.
Gwyn Gibson, CNA, CCRC
Assistant Research Director
Gwyn joined American Health Research in April of 2012. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and her Certified Nursing Assistant degree from Watts School of Nursing in Durham, NC. She began her research experience in 2009 with the HEALTHY Study, which provided Type II Diabetes intervention for middle school students in North Carolina. She has also worked on Chronic Cough, Asthma and COPD studies. For fun, she enjoys running, traveling and cooking.
Clinical Research Coordinator
Kristi joined American Health Research in October of 2013. She comes to us with an extensive background in the medical field as well as research in obstetrics and rheumatology. Kristi is a local native of North Carolina. She graduated from the University of Denver with a degree in Property and Casualty Risk Management in 1995. Kristi is the mother of two magnificent children and would not trade motherhood for anything in the world. She is an avid lover of live jazz music, theatre, fine arts, sunsets and traveling the world. Kristi enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends, sharing a great laugh over life’s experiences.
