Atopic Dermatitis

90% of people get Atopic Dermatitis (AD) on some level by the time they are 5. In infants it is most commonly seen as a reddish rash that forms on the face which is quite itchy and can cause some trouble sleeping. Children who come from a family history of AD are more likely show symptoms. The cause of is still being researched but we do know that it is not contagious and is not caused by food (though certain foods can worsen the symptoms).
